Few words about PR school

The 3rdInternational Autumn PR School “The media and PR communications: sustainable development strategy” was heldin the al-Farabi’s libraryon the 19- 20th of October. Famous people from media, cinema, policy and journalism sphereswere invitedas a conference’s speakers. Functioning of the modern press-service (search options to achieve better results and solution of actual problems)were discussed.

Moderator was the head of the UNESCO Department, professor N.T. Shyngysova.

Conference began with registration of the members and afterthat official speakers started the Opening Ceremony of the Autumn School.At the conferencemany on topicswere touched, starting from PR and finishing with interesting stories from the life of speakers. For example, reports: «PR service as an indicator of the mission and the image of the organization» by AluaMyrzakhanova, «Eat, love, TV» by SaltanatKaliyeva, «Ethicproblems in show-business» by BekzhanAshirbayev, etc.

Everyperson who participated in the conference can perfectly announce the usefulness of it. Director of the UN Department of Public Information in Kazakhstan VlastemilSamekexpressed his opinion: «I like the idea of an autumn PR school. First of all, this isthe most useful and important kind of event, where we talk about the young students and journalists, tryingto explain them how actually the PR works. I am glad that I can talk with so many people and I am really impressed. Also, I am really grateful for all partnersof the autumn PR school and I actually supporting them. I think its great way».But Mr. Sameks opinion is the opposite of this: «Well, I don’t think so. Because Kazakhstan is great in public relations. For example, you have seen EXPO 2017 or Universiade 2017, all such events are great PR for Almaty, Astana and for all country».

All participants, future PR-managers, received a lot of useful information about public relations, society, education systems and PR goals. And this is the great way to bring a lot of people together for one target.
